ABOUT

Dr Mutanda-Musoke grew up in the North West province, where she attended primary school in Rustenberg and later high school in the quaint town of Potchefstroom. She obtained her medical degree in Cape Town in 2008 and began her career at Chris Hani Baragwanath Hospital (CHBH) for the duration of 2 years. Thereafter, she practiced obstetrics and paediatrics as a medical officer. It was only once she began working in Gauteng in 2013, that she felt compelled to pursue a career in gynaecology and obstetrics.

While initially practicing as a medical officer, she completed her post graduate studies in Obstetrics and Gynaecology through the University of Pretoria in 2017. Since then, Dr Miriam Mutanda-Musoke has been practicing as a gynaecologist and obstetrician (OBGYN) at Eugene Marais Hospital in Pretoria and is passionate about providing quality health care and wellbeing for her patients in a relaxed, personal, safe and supportive environment.

With Dr Miriam Mutanda-Musoke’s experience in the Maternal and Fetal Unit at Pretoria University for the past 9 months, she has a special interest in high risk obstetrics and foetal medicine. This experience has also inspired her to pursue a subspeciality in Maternal and Feotal Medicine in January of 2019.
