APPOINTMENT INFORMATION & EMERGENCY
Dr Miriam Mutanda-Musoke works on an appointment basis, however if in the case of a gynaecological or obstetric emergency, she will be able to assist you as necessary.
When should I see a gynaecologist & obstetrician?
You should see a gynaecologist once a year for a pelvic examination and pap smear, or if you are experiencing any of the following symptoms or conditions:
- If you believe you may have an STI or STD.
- You suspect ovarian cysts, fibroids, breast disorders, vulvar and vaginal ulcers, and other non-cancerous changes.
- You wish to discuss issues relating to pregnancy, fertility, menstruation, family planning, including contraception, sterilization, pregnancy termination or menopause.
- You have persistent vaginal dryness, pain during intercourse, difficulty to orgasm during sexual arousal or suspect a sexual dysfunction.
- You have reoccurring vaginal infections.
- You have redness, swelling, pain, or drainage from the incisions of your procedure performed by your gynaecologist & obstetrician.
